This June will see a huge carpet auction in New Delhi, India.  The carpets including rugs and tapestries have come from all over the world and some are reported to be over one hundred years old.  The auctioneer's Bid & Hammer estimate that the carpets will sell from around $280 to over $20,000.  Most of these carpets are Asian tribal carpets and most will be works of art rather than the type of carpet used to walk on.
